🛡️ Extra Secure and Water Resistant Omnipod Overtape Adhesive Patch (Mix Pack) Review

Takes time to get it - about 3 weeks but my daughter prefers it to all others. Its worth it! They're from New Zealand, so I think that's why. We'll get them for her omnipod

I used this product to secure my baby's omnipod! He gets a rash every time we remove the band-aid and only where the band-aid touches his skin!

The only problem I have is that the back is one piece and you can't put the bandage on without risking it folding itself up. The back should be made of strong segments so that you can attach them neatly.

We have been using these patches for a few months now and are happy with them. The extra strap that covers the omnipod is very handy. However, our last two full packs contain fixes that go in the wrong direction! They should extend across the width to fit smoothly on the omnipod. Instead, lengthwise stretching created an uncomfortable, crumpled, and therefore less secure attachment. We hope this issue will be resolved quickly!

I ordered, everything came in one color and with only one pattern. But it doesn't bother me that much: we put this on her last Saturday and today is paging time so we're deleting that, it's only been on her for 3 days. See the image I attached after it was removed. Her skin is inflamed, it doesn't seem hyperallergenic and tender to me. Not for all skin types. We are disappointed because this summer we wanted to go swimming and that should have been our decision. Now we are back to zero :'(

I used this on my diabetic son to keep his omnipod in place. It was great at first, but suddenly he developed an allergic reaction to the glue. He scratched and pulled on it and when I took it off his skin became infected and there was a huge rash where the patch had been. Because of this, his blood sugar readings were off the charts. These patches don't fit properly. This means you have to stretch the patch/tape too much to get the tape onto the capsule. Then the inner edges will not adhere properly to the pod's own adhesive patch. Then you also get wrinkles on the pavement. 2) Because it doesn't stick to the pod patch, it won't prevent the pod from coming off.
