I bought four of these cameras to use for patterning deer in my garden. I've only ever used Wildgame Innovations cameras so this is the only brand I can compare them to. I set up two of these cameras in my yard and walked 10 to 100 feet in front of them. In photo mode, the camera took high-quality photos day and night at a distance of up to 70-80 feet. In video mode, the camera captures movement quickly for the most part, but sometimes there seems to be a slightly longer delay before recording begins. Again I passed them day and night. Both produced videos of very good quality and the sound recording is excellent. Compared to other cameras I've used, the biggest difference is the ease of setup. Agitato cameras are very easy to install. Cons: I installed two cameras in open areas and two in wooded areas. Two people in an open area filmed the night video very reliably. Two people in a wooded area are shooting daytime videos and not night videos. It is possible, although unlikely, that nothing happened in front of these two cells during the night. I left them in the same place for another week to see if there was a problem. Since I couldn't find any night video, I went back to both cameras and made sure I hadn't set the cameras to only record during the day. I've read a lot of comments about these chambers absorbing water. It's been raining almost every day here in Oklahoma for the last two weeks. All four of my cameras were in the rain the entire time. None of these chambers leaked or contained water inside the case. I had a few videos that were cloudy due to water on the lens, but when the camera dried out the video went back to normal. Again absolutely ZERO water on any of the occasions after almost non-stop 2 weeks of rain. I am very happy with these cameras for the price I paid. I plan to buy more in the near future. I gave the camera four stars in the night vision category simply because the camera couldn't record night video.
