Review on πŸ”§ Grayline 40909: Organize Your Cabinets with 2 Adjustable Base Cabinet Helper in White by Diane Collins

Not bad, but less useful than I thought.

It's stronger than I thought, but also less useful than I thought. I think the problem is that the shelves aren't high enough so I can't use them to store all those big bottles of shampoo and other toiletries under the sink. Yes, you can move that middle shelf up or down, but you're sacrificing valuable real estate, so the other shelf can only hold very flat items. Since the whole unit is quite deep - front to back, it's difficult to get anything to put in the 'Flat Items' shelf at the back. It's easy to put together - no tools, no headaches - although it takes about 5-6 minutes as they don't show close ups of which way the sides of the block are facing (i.e. inwards or outwards?). It's just a trial and error method and error. The block is framed in the same style of plastic-coated wire shelving that I associate with ClosetMaid systems. It's solid and the pieces fit together with no wobble. I have a tray of 30 nail polishes in heavy glass bottles on one of the shelves - it's heavy but pretty solid. Maybe it's better for the kitchen, with short mugs and flat stacks of plates --- - I have it in my junk closet now, but I can try to find a better solution and then bring it to the kitchen. It's ok for the price but I don't think I'll buy another one.

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • A few minor things
