Review on Thermos 2510 Rock Vacuum Bottle, 1.1qt/1.0 L, Assorted Colors (2510RLT2P) by Christina Blevins

After my dog ripped the lid on my work series thermos (and there were no spares!), I purchased this product with some confidence that it would serve me OK. Pros: I did an insulation test last night: it was -18F in Iowa, so I boiled water (210F) and kept it out for 12 hours. This morning the water temp was 135F, almost hot on the lips. Putting a little in half and drinking my drink would be ideal. This is a very acceptable result at a temperature drop of 228F. The mug is significantly better than the working series mug which has approximately 150ml more volume. It has fewer threads to prevent dried coffee residue from getting stuck inside and is generally easier to clean. Overall this is a solid nice design. Cons: Wash water seeps into the joints between the molded plastic handle and the case. When you water, water flows out and hits the surface you are watering on from above. Very annoying. I think I'll have to take a clear silicone bead and go over all the edges to seal it. Otherwise I will constantly struggle with this little problem. irrelevant. Adhesive stuck to the label is difficult to remove. This will ruin the brushed nickel finish. I am mostly satisfied with the product.
