I was able to purchase these lights when they had a great coupon so points for that! These lights are on par in every way with anything you can buy at Home Depot or Lowe's! Installation is easy (you will be given several templates to attach to the ceiling and trace). I was able to remove some of the ceiling boxes I had for the previous lighting and use the metal junction boxes included in the kit in place of those ceiling boxes. Let's talk a little bit about junction boxes. They are all metal with a nice hinged door and holes for bolting to a joist if required. Each box has 4-1/2 inch knockouts. Inside you'll find black, white, and green wires, each with its own connector. You can insert 3 extra wires into these connectors, so daisy chain lighting is very easy! The color select switch is great too, giving you a choice from cool white to warm white. They are also suitable for wet spots (like in the shower) and have a nice silicone pad on the back. I will NEVER install a false ceiling again! For comparison, I paid $25 for ONE bulb at Home Depot (assuming it's a 1150 lumen bulb, but still!).
