These are good quality dry balls. I've had it for over a month now and use it almost every day. I use them with my essential oils, simply dabbing a few drops onto each ball and tossing them along with my towels, sheets, clothes, just about anything I would use fabric softener on. They work very well, they are a good size and made entirely of excellent quality wool. I haven't had any issues with either of them and am considering buying another pack so I can have more. 6 is a great number for a big load of laundry and also works well with my oversized comforters. They save you money and I haven't used a drop of fabric softener since using them. They dry my laundry very gently combined with stuffing my down ball with white vinegar and with my salt, washing soda and dr. Bronzer as a detergent. My laundry is very clean and soft without using a lot of chemicals and it saves me money along with my Sal Suds, washing soda and salt (very coarse) with EO. After going through the whole DIY laundry soap phase and realizing it's not actually cleaning and finding my new Holy Grail combo, I won't stray from it. Buy them, they are worth every wash, and if you really need a pleasant smell, like synthetic fabric softeners, put drops of essential oil on them.
