I bought this blade set because I dropped my clipper of choice and some of the teeth on the original top/outer part broke. When I received these new blades, I installed them, oiled them and started the clipper. The new blades made an unbearably loud whirr compared to the usual low whirr that was expected. The new blades literally sound like a scoreboard buzzer at a basketball game. My bottom/inner blade was fine so I reinstalled the original bottom blade and threw the ceramic bottom blade in the trash. The loud buzzing disappeared and everything went back to normal. In short, if you only need to replace the top/outer blade, you're fine. If you are trying to replace a dull bottom/inner blade with a sharper cut I would stay away from this product and pay an additional $10 to replace the original Wahl OEM brand.
