Nickel free in my opinion
I'm allergic to nickel and the 14k gold plating must have worn off because the earrings caused allergy scars.
The description states that the base is surgical grade stainless steel and that it is nickel free, but I have found that surgical grade stainless steel contains nickel. DO NOT buy these if you are allergic to nickel.

- The rose gold plating can wear out quickly with frequent use.
