I was so disappointed when I opened the packaging. The strip shown in the ad looks like it extends around the cap, making the shower cap at least a good risk to spend over $25 on a (so far unsuccessful) search for a shower cap that ALL my hair front protected from drying out. I've bought many over the last few years and have yet to find one that will keep my hair dry at the back of my hairline. The front hem of this cap looked like it had a snug fit around the band and went around the cap. It's not like this. It's just a fabric that doesn't even have an elastic band in it and that only partially encloses the cap. Probably better than a $5 hat, but it still gets my hair wet at the back hairline since it's just stretchy and fabric like any less expensive hat. I hope this saves someone else $. As for the manufacturer; Just showing that lip/stripe on the front seems deliberately deceiving to me. I hope it isn't. If someone just made a hat that lets your hair dry completely, including the hairline at the back of your head, you could probably charge $30-$35 for it!
