These pillowcases are of a very good quality and are the size of a standard pillow. I cut the comforter as neatly as possible to fit the smaller bed. As you can imagine, this was a messy suggestion (although I made 2 seams 3/8" apart and trimmed down the middle). The cut piece was meant to be thrown away, but I noticed it was the same width as the pillows, so I rolled it up and stuffed it into one of those pillowcases, hoping ALL the lint would stay inside (but I wasn't sure secure). a sign of a leak and surprisingly my husband prefers to use it (not knowing how that happened). sleeping in the company but these pillowcases won't stain and the pillow looks like new.
