I bought these for my 4 year old grandson's birthday. He had fractured his leg quite badly three days earlier and was confined to a wheelchair for the next six weeks. I hoped he would use one and his seven year old brother the other. Then the little guy could always contact his brother when he was outside. Great success! They have an amazing range, there is a 'ring' to make it clear you need to 'pick up'. You have a great time with them! You get so stupid it's hysterical. The little one is happily distracted from his discomfort and the bigger one is having fun too. We recommend! PS They even have a flashlight. Fun!
