Review on πŸ’Ύ SanDisk Extreme PRO 32GB UHS-I/U3 SDHC Flash Memory Card - SDSDXPA-032G-X46, with up to 95MB/s transfer speed by Dennis Goozmer

Revainrating 5 out of 5

They work.

I've had many of these SD cards over the years and still haven't had a single 'failed' one. don't get warm.) Write speed is really important and they don't disappoint. When buying SD cards you should have a high "write" speed as getting image bursts onto the card is far more important than which card to "read" from. It's really your USB connection to your computer that counts more if you're going to go card reading anyway. I use this card exclusively on my Canon Full Frame 6D. It has big fat files (5MB) and 5 fps which can be a problem for the card. This camera has a "manual night mode" that requires 5 quick shots to take 1 shot and this mode requires faster memory as the camera processes 5 frames in 1. I don't recommend going over 64GB unless you're shooting 8k videos at 120fps Losing 256GB would be bad if I lost 50,000 photos, that's part of my worst nightmares. I still buy 16GB drives to use as backups because even after 10 years they fit in a cup with no image degradation.

Pros
  • Designed with a Power Core controller, the SanDisk Extreme Pro SDXC UHS-I memory card delivers lightning-fast performance by spreading image data across the card faster and more efficiently.
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
