Good value for money - see installation video

I bought one for the Kubota and one for the Yamaha Rhino. I needed extra rubber grommets for the clamps to fit. Simple enough if you have an old camera lying around (you know, it pays to salvage things) but you could just add 2 more flimsy spacers. You will need two 5mm hex keys for the barrel bolts. and I think the tilt screw was 4mm. Too bad they didn't use Philips, but they're the same size at both ends. Mounting bolts on UTVs have different hex caps than nuts, so fewer tools are required. WATCH YOUR SHORT VIDEO, a lot of people are having trouble installing them, apparently they have no problem tightening them to the roll bars like they did. . This is the time to read the instructions or watch the video they have in the picture column. BEFORE you install it, you need to loosen the hex socket screw a little because it has 36 non-friction teeth, then you can tilt the mirror 10 degrees at a time to adjust the rough angle. This adjustment screw is not visible once the mirror is in the clamps. You need to hold it in a clamped position and pull it down when the mirror looks vertical. Mount the mirror in the clips and you will have a nice tilt. Depending on your crossbar, you may need to try a different course angle and select the best range. A bit frustrating but once you win the fight it's over. This process can be a little cumbersome. They're cheap enough to replace if you break them, but if you don't overtighten a hinge bolt, they'll move out of the way on impact. Mine have ridden over branches, trees, boulders, bumped into doors, been "herded" by curious cows and angry bulls, and they just need to be reconfigured.

Pros
  • Works great for me
Cons
  • No instructions
