This 30 amp cable has a 30 amp RV pole plug and a 50 amp socket. Why? Because if you have a 50 amp RV you only have 30 amps like I stock. Or if you only have 30 amps when camping, you don't want to be pulling a 50 amp monster cord with your dog bone.
