I was looking for a smaller replacement for my diet as all the ones i saw and found were so big and heavy. disturb the headphones. So I was very happy to see the reviews that it was too small and thought that means it was close to what I was looking for. I was very, painfully wrong. Super strong click, which is not necessarily a bad thing. A SUPER tight fit that didn't bother me at first but quickly became a worrying issue. What started out as, "Oh, that's just comfy and fits different" turned into a bit of a panic as it was putting so much pressure on that little piece of gristle, causing swelling and increasing pain. I couldn't take it off, the hard clicking in place wouldn't move, and the swelling made removal impossible. I was afraid it would have to be cut off and/or my ear would be irreparably damaged. I finally came away with a rather original idea of using a thread. I'm not even joking. Because of the swelling, I couldn't slide anything underneath to pull it out. Cut out essentially 2 pieces, thread one through the front and the other through the back, pull *gently* in opposite directions, and after a few failed attempts managed to untie and remove it. I could cry, freed from this cute device of torment (I may have cried, but there are no witnesses). So please trust me when I say this as someone who has a very small ear for this piercing, IT IS TOO SMALL TO DIE. . Also it seems well made and unfortunately sturdy which is the only reason I gave it 2 stars vs 1. IDK what am I going to do with it.
