Based on other reviews, this is not for everyone. I used to use my countertop for mixing, sometimes my hand. I still occasionally use my hand when I need to remove excess product, but this has made my life a lot easier. It's light, easy to move, easy to hold, and I love that I can see through it, which helps me optimize product thickness. I have a small spray bottle of rubbing alcohol and a post makeup cleansing spray. I use it for foundation, concealer, creamy eye shadows and use it to brush excess powder off my brushes. I've been using it for over a year and I'm online to buy one as a gift. Seeing the neutral reviews I felt compelled to add my own. :)
