I bought this for my boyfriend because he has very bad eczema and his loofah is doing his skin more harm than good. After some research and reading reviews I ventured here. I personally used it just to test it. It's definitely a lot softer than I thought (which isn't necessarily a bad thing in our case). It is quite thin so it is very easy to roll up or roll up. I saw reviews that the product does not feel good in the hand and I partially agree with them. Even if I stick my fingers in as far as possible before wetting the product, it still slips a little. As for the soap, he uses Aveeno liquid soap with the product and it doesn't wash off as quickly as some reviewers have mentioned. When I tested this, I poured some soap onto the product and used my other hand to rub over it in a circular motion until it lathered up a bit. I have no complaints about lathering and using soap with the product. Because it's so soft, I can see why reviewers also say it doesn't "clean" well. In our case, I disagree because it's rough enough to clean my friend's skin but not scrape it; but that's just him. Using the product according to the condition of his skin works well for him. Depending on the severity of your skin condition or sensitivity, you may not like the extra soft bristles.
