I am very skeptical about the latest trends in cat litter anti-tracking technology. I researched and waited for 2 years before purchasing the "Trash Box Out of Sight" which is 100% fully functional and leaves no residue of 0 litter pellets anywhere and never. Although I like it I needed an extra tray because they say 1 tray per cat. So I have a typical compartment number 2. There was always garbage at the exit. I've tried styrofoam, carpet, cardboard boxes, and even (to my shame and shame that I will always regret) the terribly sharp Van Ness Trackless toilet rug (various colors) (13 3/4' x 17'). ' x 5/8') and her paws apparently hurt even while walking from jumping over the toilet mat to get to the tray. So I got this and I would say it catches about 97% of the junk. PLUS it's a soft, shock-absorbing material that massages cat's paws instead of poking them with daggers. Others notice an unpleasant smell. I will say that I felt the first day but not now. Would buy again!
