I really love Rogz collars. A few years ago when I was a new kitten owner my cats seemed to have different collars around their jaws. Their bottom teeth even went through the material and they couldn't pull the collar off themselves. Let me tell you it's scary. And yes, I've only ever used breakaway collars - their jaws weren't strong enough to break them. And yes, they were properly tightened. Then I ordered Rogz collars for them. To be honest I just thought it would be cute if they matched (because they have a pretty cool color choice if you like plain collars). I never had any other problem. Those are the only collars my cats don't care about. Best of all, you can set the weight at which the collar breaks. They used to have an adjustment on the outside of the clasp, but now it's hidden behind the clasp on the part of the collar that touches the cat's neck. There are three weight options. This is a very good feature! My 12 lb fat man can have it on the highest setting while my kitty, once big enough to carry one of these, can have his on the lowest setting. If they're hanging onto anything in the house, I'm sure *I* could adjust it so their body weight was definitely enough to snap the collar instead of leaving them hanging there. a bit good but I would never leave my cat outside so we don't use it. However, I can confirm that it is very reflective. When you receive the collar, wait until evening, turn off all the lights, then use the flash to capture a video of your cat on your phone - you'll be amazed at the glare from the collar.
