🐱 Nightcat Cat Collar by Rogz Review

At first I thought it was expensive to dress my apartment street cat. She has lost so many collars but we have had this collar for almost a year now and it works very well. The reflective aspect is bright and does what it's designed to do. This collar allows you to adjust the trigger tension, making it worth the price. Will buy again and again and will probably buy for my second cat soon.

I loved this product's ability to adjust to my growing kitten's size and the force required to 'break' it. I bought a cheap version from a big store that started falling apart from day one. My only issue with this collar has to do with the material that makes up the inside of the collar. As you can see, when the kitten scratches, the threads stretch. Twice it ended with the threads getting caught in his teeth. (I'm not sure how that could have happened if he hadn't taken care of his breasts.) I

I know that the buckles on cat collars are made in such a way that they can be easily undone so that the cat can free itself if its collar gets caught somewhere. But most work too easily, sometimes accidentally, even if the cat just hits it with its paw. If you have an indoor/outdoor cat (and what's the point of a collar if your cat just stays indoors), that means a new collar needs to be changed about every week or so. Not this one. Not only do they reflect light very well, they last a lot longer than some of the cheaper alternatives. Also, in my experience, they are safer. I've used them to rescue some feral kittens by letting others know they are being cared for. Some of the cheaper collars, even though they should be released, sometimes get stuck in kittens' mouths when they try to remove the collars. The cheaper collars are really dangerous because they don't release quickly enough to prevent the cat from panicking…

First of all, this is a beautiful collar. I really liked the colors available and the reflective properties so I can find my boy in the garden at night. I bought 4 between 2 different orders and my boy lost the first one within 3 days. I then ordered 3 more and lost 2 out of 3 within a week. I really love Rogz collars. A few years ago when I was a new kitten owner my cats seemed to have different collars around their jaws. Their bottom teeth even went through the material and they couldn't pull the collar off themselves. Let me tell you it's scary.
