Honestly a big disappointment given the price. One of the most fundamental characteristics of a beard comb (and indeed any comb) is the clean, smooth edges that come into contact with the hair. Base between the comb teeth. I took a closer look and it looks like not only is it not sanded at that contact point, it is not even powder coated. The result I felt when using it before examining it carefully was that it grazes/pulls the hair. I really felt it pulling my hair and causing split ends when using it. I was literally better off with a $3 plastic brush. Such a manufacturing defect is unacceptable for a brush of this price. It would be better if they ditched leather sheaths and invested the extra money in proper quality control. I love other Bossman products but at least this product I received is a huge disappointment and I hope that doesn't apply to the combs others have received.
