Practical set. - Open fire cookware

I think this is a pretty handy set. I think the aluminum pots are anodized and not non-stick coated. The products can therefore stick. We use a large deep pot to cook ramen noodles and have no problem with that. Basically, we use an electric kettle to draw drinking water from a spring and pour it into empty soda bottles. We try to keep it clean and soot free. But if we boil water in it, I doubt the water will stick. Knives, forks and spoons are amazingly functional. The mugs are functional and my kids seem fascinated by them. I personally think aluminum is a more practical material than titanium for things like this. It's cheaper and conducts heat better. It's also a lighter metal, so for the same weight it can be thicker, making it almost as strong, even better when heated evenly, and probably stiffer. Some titanium camping pots seem too thin even for Supermetal.

Pros
  • Open fire cookware
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
