A really necessary purchase, Im glad I found this product.

Of course, I need to use more, but I really like it now.
Aperture 1,8 immediately came in handy - not 2,8 after all (which I have on zooms).
Fix - it is a fix, but for street reporting and portraits I really liked this focal length (50 mm) on the crop.
I can’t compare by the picture, because did not use either 50 / 1.4 AF or 50 / 1.4 AF-S.
Why did I put ease of use - 4 - it's just uncomfortable to hold on - too small - you constantly touch the focus ring.

Cons

no built-in motor - not suitable for younger models of Nikon cameras

Excellent glass for weddings and love stories. I bomb them just like that, customers are happy. The photos come out great. Now he always sits on the d7000, I only shoot landscapes and portraits from it.

A good lens, after the whale, of course, the difference is noticeable. But as a universal one, it didn’t suit me personally. You also need a zoom lens.
