This tripod is very easy to use. My cell phone (Samsung Galaxy s9) got into the holder without any problems. To activate the remote all I had to do was turn it on (button on the side) and then go to settings on my phone. Click Connections and then click Bluetooth. The remote control will appear and then just select pairing. I was ready to take photos. I bought a taller tripod for group photos, but this tripod with bendable legs is very stable and easy to balance for a quick selfie or even video chat on the phone! Good product
