The pigment is very light which I think is good for a child but it means she has to keep reapplying it to get color on her face. There's not a lot of product either, so you only get a few lip glosses and nail polishes. The nail polish brushes are really bad and fold when you put them back in the container causing even more chaos when a toddler tries to use them on themselves or others. In general I would prefer the cheap cosmetics from the dollar store or CVS to this set because it lasts a lot longer.
