Good radio for the money. The build quality is good and I was impressed with the reception quality. Running on 3 AA batteries in addition to manually charging the radio with the 'handle' is a nice feature. Results may vary, but here is what I experienced - 100 spins - 9 minutes 200 spins - 14 minutes 300 spins - 22 minutes 500 spins - 35 minutes 1000 spins - 55 minutes 300 spins took about 2 minutes, 1000 took about 10 minutes . including a brief pause to rest, my hand rotates every few hundred. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star rating is that it's not waterproof and may not be durable enough for hiking or other activities where it might get bumped a bit.
