My daughters and I have been giving each other manicures and pedicures and it's so much fun applying these butterfly glitters. We tried just polishing them and then covering them with a clear coat. While this works, we've found that if you do too much with your hands, they will fall off. For example washing dishes or doing gardening. However if you use a little drop of crazy glue you don't need much and then apply a clear coat to them they last a lot longer. Luckily, they come in the containers pictured and store well with other nail polishes. There are so many colors to choose from and they work on fingernails or toenails. We've applied them to acrylics and then directly to our nails and they work with either of them. To pick them up, it is best to dab the tool with a little water. Sometimes you need to move the butterfly as some of them stick to each other.
