I have been following this item for over a year. We have a small space in our living room and this item seemed to be the right size. Anyway, it arrived pretty quickly. However, after taking all the pieces out of the box, I felt like I might have made a mistake. In the end, my friend collected everything. After a few minutes, maybe an hour, he was absolutely disappointed. It took him about 2 hours or more to assemble. After completion I was very satisfied with this work. I think it ties the space together nicely. It was worth the effort. There are a few things that struck me. They had to be veneered on all sides. The back has a partial panel. So you cannot use it as a coffee table. He works leaning against the wall. I think the $95 I paid was a bit overpriced. If they sent it out in full without putting everything together, they could easily have received $150. I just don't think it's worth $100 for a box of 1000.
