My TJ 2006 did not start. When I turned the key to the "on" or "accessories" position, everything seemed to work (sensors are powered, radios are powered, etc.). When I turned the key to start the car, nothing happened. I noticed that the starter relay coil is not getting any power. The hot wire to the starter solenoid (at the relay switch terminals) would start the engine, but it wouldn't start even with the key in the ignition if someone pulled the clutch. After some research I bought this part hoping it would solve my problem and it did. Anyone can replace this part with a set of torx bits (especially T10) and a little patience. There are several helpful YouTube videos detailing how to replace this part.
