A great device that appears to be very well made and performs as expected or even better. Not sure about the other reviewer who mentioned the connection lag, but mine connects instantly even though I'm only using it as a digital cable box to bring my 2005 receiver into the third decade of the 21st century. It's also located about 20 feet from the transmitter (my PC) so I can't judge the range at the moment. The unit is sound stable - with no dropouts and/or hissing - when streaming web media (mainly audio) and the sound quality is very good to excellent in my opinion. And the front-facing blue light isn't overly bright - both bright and distracting - which seems to get in the way of many electronic devices these days. The device also makes a strong impression. I know weight doesn't always equal quality, but it feels solid and stays in place well. The designers have thought about this.
