I really like this gate as we have a dog with a severe anxiety disorder. For example, she has to constantly look at her people. These gates allow us to contain it when necessary, e.g. B. when we bring groceries into the house or open the front door for delivery. Installation wasn't difficult. The gate is well made. My biggest issue with the gate was how dirty it was. It's not Gates' fault that some dogs feel the need to lick and spit all over the place, but I wanted to point that out if you think it might be something nasty. I haven't tried it with younger nieces and nephews, but I think it's similar with kids. However, it's easy to clean, just a paper towel with some glass cleaner and you're done.
