Like most projectors, I did my research, read the reviews and watched the video. It's going to be an outdoor movie night projector, so I didn't want to spend $1,000. I wanted it to be bright, native 1080 dpi, have good reviews and not break the bank. This met all the criteria. Simple instructions, plug in your Roku joystick and start Empire Strikes Back. To be honest, the hardest part was opening the back of the remote to insert the batteries (pry from the top, not the bottom). In my video he's in the basement around 7 p.m. The shutters were closed, but it was still dusk. I recorded the video on my phone and it was compressed so I could post it. The image from the projector is not as pixelated as shown in the video (so I had to submit it to Revain for publication). The picture is very clear, which surprised me a lot. I didn't bother with brightness, contrast or any settings. I thought the opening scene would be a good test as it has dark scenes and very bright scenes. He passed with honor. The speakers aren't fantastic, but they'll do if you don't have a soundbar to plug into. Overall I'm very impressed with this projector for the price and the quality you get with it. If you are considering a projector I would recommend it!
