I was looking for a large, strong, airtight, food safe container that would have a large capacity but still fit on the shelves of my cupboard. This container ticks all the boxes - in fact, it's the only one. I use it to store an assortment of already opened bags of different flours. The jar is so strong and the lid closes so tightly that I am confident that my flour will last well and stay safe from rodents too. The pen was a bonus and I'm glad to have it. This makes it easier to move the container from place to place as well as taking it out of the closet. I pull it out of the closet onto my other arm. I have no reason to believe the lid will come loose or the handle will break, but I'm sure. It is 15-20 kg of flour. I highly recommend this Komax container. FYI: I put each bag of flour in a plastic bag so they don't contaminate each other (e.g. white flour with buckwheat).
