I received this monitor as a second monitor. I need 2 screens while I work and this one seemed like the right one for the task. This monitor uses an IPS panel which means it's great for color and has great viewing angles so everything stays readable and has consistent colors which is very important to me whether you're looking at it from the bottom, top or the side I installed it over the main monitor so I'll take a look at it. The monitor has VESA mounting holes on the back so you can easily mount it by hand, which is what I did. The weakness of this monitor is the included stand, that's the only flaw I see with it so far and why I didn't give it a perfect rating. The included stand has no height adjustment, no swivel, no movement at all and is a lightweight plastic stand. This wasn't a problem for me as I use a bracket to mount it, but if this is going to be your primary monitor this may not be the stand for you. The menu system on this monitor is great. It has a small joystick on the back that you can use to enter settings and make a lot of changes. You can enable game modes, blue light filter modes, customize colors and more. It's a great monitor for work and everyday tasks like browsing the web and watching videos, but it's also good enough for casual gamers. It has a refresh rate of 75Hz, which is slightly higher than the average non-gaming monitor that only 60Hz models typically have. This monitor also has a built-in Freesync feature. When enabled, screen tearing will not occur when in a game with fast on-screen movement. So with the game modes included, it's good for you if you're a casual gamer. However, if you are an FPS gamer who needs maximum performance, this might not be enough. I really like the thin bezels on the top and sides which give the monitor a nice look. It can also be good if you use 2 of these side by side, you don't have too much margin where they meet in the middle. You get both Displayport and HDMI on the back, so it can be connected to any computer. It only includes one HDMI cable, which should be fine for most users. I use an HDMI cable and it works great. However, if you want to use DisplayPort, you need to buy this cable. I am very happy with this monitor and would highly recommend it to anyone for most purposes. Gorgeous colors, great viewing angles, and nice features. This monitor made a very strong impression on me.
