Power and source buttons on original remote no longer work for bedroom TV. Not wanting to get out of bed to set up the TV required a replacement remote. When we got this one, a visual comparison showed that all the buttons looked the same and were the same dimensions. The only notable differences are that the texture of the plastic feels grainy rather than matte, and the icons and font on the battery cover are slightly larger. The functionality was flawless. After inserting the batteries, the remote could interact with the TV without having to set up a sync. The only inconvenience I faced was that the bottom of the battery cover protruded a little beyond the bottom of the remote, causing its corners to sometimes catch on the back. It is believed that this can easily be fixed by slightly bending the bottom corners of the battery cover.
