Review on πŸ’“ EMAY Portable ECG Monitor – Wireless Heart Rate & Rhythm Tracking Device for iPhone & Android, Mac & Windows, Enhancing Heart Performance by Denise White

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This premium wearable heart monitor from EMAY works great!

I bought two different portable heart monitors and decided this one was better. Here's a review I wrote that describes exactly what I did and found: Without knowing which wearable heart monitor to buy, I did some research. I found a video review site that ranked this device slightly below the others. EMAY had the highest rating; However, I've seen KardiaMobile have some sort of FDA clearance (for detecting atrial fibrillation) and others I've looked at don't. Having suffered from atrial fibrillation for over 20 years, I figured that KardiaMobile might be good enough for my needs as it appears to have been specifically designed to detect atrial fibrillation (but no more). I have decided to purchase both KardiaMobile and an ECG monitor from EMAY. I was planning on keeping both devices and maybe gifting one to my sons. I found that the KardiaMobile I bought is just a strip with two electrodes that can work together with a cell phone app. It worked well, but it wasn't able to display, store, or interpret your heart rate data. My iPhone application needed to receive and interpret data. On the other hand, the EMAY device can receive, display and store data independently of the mobile phone. Then, when the phone was placed next to the EMAY heart monitor, it automatically downloaded the stored data for viewing, storage, and interpretation with my phone app. Then the application also had algorithms to detect several possible cardiac abnormalities. I believe the heart waveform provided by the EMAY device was also better than the KardiaMobile waveform. So I returned the KardiaMobile and kept the EMAY wearable heart monitor. I can easily buy EMAY for my sons.
