Great so far! 250 ft extension

My shop TP Link AC 1750 WiFi router (same at home) is about 225-250 ft long and just can't work. I have underground CAT6 cable. I installed these blocks after trying various switch configurations and so far they have worked flawlessly. Internet speed is great. The 2 photos show the switch configuration I have. The instructions could have been better. In the photo on a white background, the device is with me, and in the second photo the recipient is in the shop. If I encounter any problems I…

Makes my life easier

I'm working on a project to move CCTV images to one central location. The phone lines were in place but this system was more expensive than using powerline devices so I went with the powerline which actually worked as it sounds like you need a pretty clean system to get from point a to point b to get. I bought a Tupavco system and connected it with phone wires. I have a clean image on multiple cameras (three phone cord splices between two Tupavco units). Happy with the results as I preferred…

A great way to extend your Ethernet connection over long distances!

This is the third pair I have bought. One pair provides 100Mbps Ethernet over 200m of Category 5e cabling. The other 2 pairs provide Ethernet connectivity to two outside buildings served by unused phone company taps (200ft and 500ft). will. Easy to set up (make sure one device is configured as CO and the device on the other end is configured as RT) and easy to use. These devices have already proven themselves with my customers. Additional info: 2 weeks ago one of the pair of devices failed to…

Great product. Works perfectly!

I can't say enough about this product. Sorry I'm limited to 5 stars. * * * * * I'll add 5 more here It worked right after setting the co/cpe switches. I've tried running the security cameras within 600 feet of the dash cam to no avail. I've tried "balun" connectors but got images that are wobbly. I placed the "co" block behind the router and used the existing Cat5 cable, although I think it will work with just about any copper pair. 600 feet down the line I put the "cpe" block on and connected…

Great unit, great support!

This device was very easy to set up. I have a shed about 1/4 mile from my house that I wanted to hook up ethernet for CCTV cameras etc. I had a Category 5 underground cable installed during construction so I needed a solution to make this work. After some research I came across a VDSL solution, bought it here, installed it and voila, Smart Barn! During a recent thunderstorm, the CO end at the LAN input died. I worked with the supplier to get an additional troubleshooting unit and ended up…

1 month view - 800 feet away, no signal loss!

SuddenLink isn't coming to our home with wired internet, it's coming to my dad's, which is across the street from us and not far from Main Street (literally Main Street). For the last 5+ years we have run an ethernet cable to an intermediate point (a metal building), through an internet powered device, and then to an outdoor directional antenna pointed at our home. A total of 750 feet, 550 feet of cable over the air and 200 feet of Wi-Fi signal to our home. Besides signal loss (dad's internet…

Fabulous! Use this to extend my internet to a remote structure.

USE: I connect my RV to a router about 100 meters from the building. I use an external Cat6 cable in an underground conduit that goes to an external box with an ethernet connector. I then have a 50 Cat6 patch cord from this external ethernet box in the RV to the network switch in the RV. I could not use the WiFi connection because there is a mobile home between the structure where the router is located (I tried first). PROBLEM: I had an intermittent intermittent Internet connection on Category…

TUPAVCO is the only way to plug and play

I needed internet in my shed. My home's Wi-Fi signal couldn't get through the metal siding of the barn, which was about 225 feet away. I did a lot of research and TUPAVCO Tex-100 seemed like a good option to implement. Run two (2) CAT6 cables (shielded with drain wire) in 1 inch PVC pipe and bury to an average depth of 8 inches. I ran 2 cables to have 1 spare in case of need. There were a few issues connecting the RJ45 connectors, but after a few tries I got the cables to test. I connected two…
