Review on Elevate Your Workstation with πŸ’» the Logitech Alto Express Notebook Stand by Anthony Heinrichs

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This is the one to choose. serious

From the product photo I was concerned that the Logitech Alto Express laptop stand would not be able to raise my laptop high enough, so I was tempted to go for one of the adjustable stands. I am very glad that I chose Logitech. The angle couldn't be more perfect, the manufacturer obviously thought very carefully about what is ergonomically correct when constructing the base, the center of my screen is exactly in the middle of my field of vision. When in use, the stand almost disappears. Despite the outrageously high price for a piece of plastic, it does exactly what it's supposed to do, so it was worth the price to me. The adjustable frames I've seen are finicky and wobbly. In particular, xbrand has small wheels that can cause the laptop to fly off the edge of the table if accidentally hit. Almost every other brand raises the leading edge too high. Some, like the xbrand, have flaps that need to be opened to access the front controls. I think a lot of manufacturers take a simple concept and try to complicate it. That's one thing no one will pin Logitech on! This stand has a very simple design. My home office might be a bit stylish, but I absolutely need functionality. I work on the computer 12-14 hours a day. I used to hate my laptop, and now that I have an HP wireless keyboard and mouse and a Logitech Alto Express laptop stand, I hardly know I'm not using my desktop PC. I think this laptop stand is a winning option. PROS: Perfect viewing angle, solid support, beautiful appearance. CONS: Hey, it's a three-dollar piece of plastic with an insane margin, but I'd rather pay more for something that's perfect than something that falls short.
