This is well made for the most part. By well-made I mean the plastic parts seem to be molded together well. There are some design question marks for me. Such as this is targeted to children and parents who are on the go. So then why is the latch to the table so difficult to slide over? You have to slide over a latch, this then allows you to pull a hooked latch up. IT was the hooked part that was holding the tray up. I know the slide latch secured the hook latch but it is near impossible to slide the one latch over for an adult with all their might, so there is no way a child could do it. I get they want to make it semi difficult to prevent the tray from disengaging while driving and to prevent accidents. But this is one thing they could take notes from airline trays.They also have the back legs to help steady the tray. The problem is you can only adjust one way in and out but not left to right. SO, if you have a molded back chair (ford escape 2022) the ones with hard edges this has a hard time since the legs do not fit with the hard sides. Now it fits well on the neck support bars of the headrest.This is one of those things that is good for those long trips in the car but probably not for those days where you are getting in and out every little bit. IT makes it difficult.
