I know Ikea screwed up the term "easy assembly" but it's true. Maybe the only thing to watch out for in the instructions is that the flat screws go to the top shelf and the pointed screws go to the bottom shelf. I particularly liked that they only drilled through one side of the table legs so you don't have to figure out how each leg attaches, you can't screw it. The tables are perfect as bedside tables for the limited space and high bed in my guest room. Very pretty. My floors are rickety like an old house so I put thin felt stickers on the back legs and thicker felt pads on the front legs and all is good.
