My cat doesn't like baths at all but it helped her a lot to soften up after she was still struggling, mind you. There wasn't a single scratch that day, unlike before (she gave me a number), but those days are over. As for shelf life, it was supposed to last a while, I noticed my cat biting the end of the packaging but didn't seem to do anything about it. Either way, this is a game changer for me.
