These self-adhesive reflectors work very well. I have two black dogs that I walk with at night and I have taped these reflectors to my dog harnesses (Easy Walk harnesses). They reflect light very well at night, and despite all the bulging on the nylon straps, none of the reflectors flaked off at the corners. I set the iron to a relatively low temperature and while ironing, I simply put a thin piece of fabric between the surface of the iron and the reflector, and before long the reflector was stuck to the surface of the seat belts - combs and all! Dog harnesses are treated pretty harshly (ie wear them day and night instead of collars) and we haven't had any issues so far (it's been about a year). I also attached one of the reflectors to one of the outer seat belt clips and had no problem pulling it off either. I'm actually buying another set because one of the harnesses broke (one of the clips snapped) and I just bought a new harness for the dog. Despite wearing a hat with LEDs and carrying a flashlight on flexible dog leashes, I am amazed at how difficult it is to keep track of a harnessed dog without these reflectors. Since I only need about 1/2 of these stickers for the tag, I'm considering ironing some of these patches onto my hiking jacket as well.
