Review on πŸ’» Kingdel NC860 Fanless Mini PC - Intel i7 10th Gen CPU, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD, 4K 4096x2304, HD Port, DP, Full Metal Case, Windows 10 Pro by Brian Thao

Overall pretty good. Very good value for money, few snags.

Advantages:* Original branded parts. Storage is Samsung, SSD is Kingston, and not even their "value" options. * Worried about overheating without a fan, seems to be cooling effectively. Robust aluminum housing. The case even has mounting screw holes.* A RAM slot, a mini PCIe slot, a 2-port USB slot, and an empty SATA port that can be used for upgrades. Enclosure including bracket and screws for 2.5" HDD/SSD.* All specs are correct. Including subtle performance settings like memory speed. * BIOS is UEFI and has tons of detailed options. * As far as I can tell, no malware or spyware installed. Better delete it no matter what. Bad: * WiFi card not great WiFi N, not AC I bought a replacement that included Bluetooth and AC.* No support Don't rely on BIOS updates or similar. I can't even find a support page to download. Or even a manual. CPU-Z says the system builder is the "default string" haha. * The Windows license is illegal. Yes, it works, Yes, when I check it says it's valid. However, the license type is a volume license, NOT an OEM license or a retail license. They are for internal company use and cannot be legal be freely transferred to you or sold on new systems. Don't be surprised if your license spontaneously stops working as soon as Microsoft finds out. On the plus side, since they're giving away their internal license key, feel free to use it to activate any other Windows Pro installs you have with your money!

Pros
