This is important. borders on difficult, which is why it is there. I was expecting something lighter and figured laptops could handle it. I also expected to use velcro underneath to secure it in place. Thanks to the rubber and heavy metal, it just sits there and holds a nearly nine-pound gaming laptop as well as a Chromebook. Velcro is not required. Very well done. PS: Not a gamer. just an old guy who wanted a fast car. And now I have a place to keep this beast off the table when I'm not using it! Wahoo!
