I didn't think the description on the site was entirely fair. They stated that the women's width is 4 inches. No way. The overall width of the ball of the foot is 2-7/8 inches for women, 3-3/4 inches for men. The length for men is 10-3/4 inches. "Women's length is 9-1/2", women's ankle width is 2-3/8" at the ankle and men's width is 3". The women's sizing is 10-1/4" with a Taurus strap. A woman's calf must be fairly thin to fit this device. The men's model is 11" and has two calf and ankle straps. None of the The proposed device fits me. Even if I shorten men's shoes, it still doesn't fit my shoes. There are no shoe sizes on the model. The website is for men or women, but the documents in the box say the men's sizes are 7- 8-9-10-11+ and the women's sizes are 5-6-7-8+ I hope this helps someone get the right size.
