Keeps my baby's hair moist for most of the day. I've just started using it on his hair because he has a stubborn stain on the back of his head that tends to dry much quicker than the rest of his hair. He is mixed and his hair is really nice. I think his hair is wavy in the front. maybe 2C and the back of his hair is between 3a and 3b. He has a stubborn stain that really dries much faster than the rest of his hair. I tried this product in combination with Mixed Chicks Baby Care and other Miss Jessie Multicultural Curls. I use a very small amount of this buttermilk every morning before he goes to daycare. After a few hours his hair looks amazing! In this way, the stubborn stain only stays damp for a short time. I'll add this stain a little more, but it still dries quickly :(. In the evenings after bathing I use a children's blended chick conditioner and then apply a little Ms. Jessie's multicultural perm. I intensively condition with a chick blended deep conditioner once per Week for an hour This regimen seems to be improving the stain I've only been doing this for 2 weeks but I'm already noticing an improvement The stain seems less than it was before using this buttermilk I'll update if this product helps loosen the stain dry patch I wanted would give 4.5 stars I think there is too much coming out of the tube at once for my child's hair type A little goes a long way on his hair so I have to be very careful just one got out of hand to say the least
