I really like the new front entrance. My cat is neither old nor disabled, so she doesn't need a low step in. Now there is a perforation, so you have a choice of perforation on the front. This is very helpful in spreading dirt. No more "low entry"! Now I only have one cat and I give 2-3 inches from Dr. Elsie's clumping litter (slightly more expensive but forms hard clumps). Our routine work. I pick it up one evening after work and throw it in the trash on Sunday before taking out the trash. This eliminates the "smell time" that we are used to from plastic boxes. It seemed that the more I rubbed, the faster they started to smell. I ordered a set of top slabs, they are huge! Not sure which I prefer, will update later!
