The metal "buckle piece" often comes loose (never during use) and is easy to put back on (allows you to shorten the strap if needed), but it's annoying that it comes loose almost every time my son picks it up. belt is off. The colors are very neutral and pleasant, otherwise we like the belt. The suggestion that this particular feature of the belt (the ability to remove the buckle so the length of the belt could be adjusted) was hard to find.
