I'm not a power user but I really like having the player and volume controls right on the keyboard and the calculator key is indispensable. For some reason, whether it's a keyboard or my computer, when I first plugged it in, I couldn't long-press or re-press any key on the keyboard, and every time I pressed a key, there was a clicking sound coming out of the speaker. You literally had to wait 3 seconds between each press. Sorting the misspelled word was excruciating. Somehow the "Use Filter Key" option was enabled. This setting is in the "simple keyboard settings" or you can presumably hold down the right shift key for 8 seconds to turn it off. I hope this helps if anyone else finds themselves in the same puzzle. The mouse, on the other hand, is fine. I bought this set to replace a much older version of the same keyboard and the new style mouse just can't compete with the ergonomics of the old Microsoft mouse. When it's snug in my hand, the back button doesn't rest against my thumb. It's annoying as hell having to change hand position to take advantage of its "ergonomic" features. way of hitting the target. But slamming the keyboard anyway, and for a fraction of what the old was worth when it was new technology. Enjoy!
