I bought these parts for the Pelican tactical case, I really like them, much better than the larger heavy steel version I use in my Pelican 1650 case, it's smooth and I can open it without looking at the combination thanks to the smooth but significant keystrokes. I always use the lock and unlock algorithm i.e. 1 click left, 1 right, 1 left, 1 right and the lock will open in reverse order. I choose a code that leaves an enticing code when locked, e.g. B. 1234. With these locks you can easily set any combination you want. I wish they were all sizes, I would buy a bunch
